| From Stories To Wake Up With – Opening Photos |
“Good Night Kiss” is dealing with political and ideological messages that are delivered through the family environment and examining the love and violence that are involved in creating identities. It is based on a documentation of a Skype conversation between my parents and my teachers at my Master degree in the Netherlands, during my final exam. My parents were offended by an essay I wrote that was delivering some personal and critical messages about the political situation in Israel. ( You can find the essay “Talmud” on a link on this site). I invited them to explain why the essay made them upset and to express their opinions about the political situation in Israel.
The video was accompanied by the theme of the film Exodus by Otto Preminger.
